Four Habits That Can Kill You

There are four bad habits that can greatly reduce a person’s life. Indulging in these four bad habits would cause a person to die earlier. These are the our bad habits that can literally kill you.
According to a study carried out by researchers at the University of Oslo on over 5000 British adults over a span of twenty years, from 1984 to 2004, it has been discovered that the four bad habits that can greatly reduce a person’s life are smoking, drinking, eating unhealthy foods and being inactive. However, with a little change in lifestyle, life expectancy can be increased.
Smoking is the main cause for cardio-vascular diseases and cancer and those who engaged in all four bad habits were found to be at risk of an early death compared to those who did not practice any of the bad habits.
In fact, people who smoke, drink, eat unhealthy foods and are inactive died twelve years earlier than those who did not engage in any of the four behaviors.
It’s not difficult to prolong one’s life. All a person needs to do is to stop smoking, drink moderately, eat healthy foods and be more active. In doing so, a person can prolong his life by twelve years more.
It’s never too late to stop all these negative behaviors. The earlier these bad habits are stopped, the better the chances that a person can live longer.
It may be difficult to change bad habits but think about how by a little change in lifestyle would greatly increase a person’s life expectancy.
